Maywood, Illinois resident Brian Black became the CEO of BMB270 Company, LLC, after serving in two other roles with the city’s police department for 15 years. A law enforcement officer with the City of Maywood, Brian Black began his career in law enforcement in 1997 as a patrol officer and finished as a deputy police chief in 2012.
Mr. Black became deputy police chief in 2007, a role in which he oversaw all aspects of the department. Additionally, he supervised internal affairs investigations and took part in major police department decisions. For his work as deputy police chief, the Maywood Police Department gave him a certificate of appreciation in 2010. He also taught courses in criminal justice administration at Triton College from 2005 to 2011.
After working with the Maywood Police Department, he joined New Life Community Ministries in 2013 as CEO to oversee the ministry’s education programs, marketing, sales, and human resources departments. An ordained minister, he was Father in Action Facilitator for The Salvation Army in 2018, where he coordinated the organization’s activities. Today, he still oversees BMB270 Company, LLC operations.
Mr. Black contributes his time, talents, and financial assistance to the church community, in addition to his being a member of the FMA Ministerial Alliance for over six years. His other interests include holistic health and wellness, the advantages of healthy eating, planning nutritious meals, enjoying herbal teas, and searching for natural drinks.
